Robbie has housesat for us on two different occasions and we highly recommend him to take care of your home while you are away! He took great care of our place and we came home to a happy and healthy dog, who almost didn’t want him to leave! Robbie came highly recommended by a friend of mine who loves her animals like family, as I do, and who has trusted Robbie with fur-baby care for years. He has cared for my fur-family several times now, and he has been wonderful each time. The fur babies (both canine and feline, all senior, some with special meds and needs) have been superbly taken care of, and when I come home they are all happy and healthy. Robbie takes good care of my home as well, and the place is always clean and tidy when I return, exactly as I left it.  Robbie looked after my home during the 3 months I was away. He assured me that he would accommodate the housesitting during covid travel uncertainty and It was great to come home to a clean and maintained house. I was extremely anxious about having someone I didn’t know house sit during the first time Robbie looked after my home but am so glad I took a chance on him. We have asked Robbie to housesit for us on several occasions and felt comfortable trusting him again with our home and dogs. What we could not have anticipated however, was our city being evacuated due to out of control wildfires while we were travelling. We had left one of our vehicles behind for Robbie to use while he took care of our home. When the city was ordered to evacuate, not only did Robbie pack up our two dogs and their food/water, he also retrieved our passports, birth certificates, baby blankets and other items we didn’t want to lose to a wildfire. He drove from Yellowknife to Saskatchewan to meet us and was in communication with us the whole time. Prior to leaving Yellowknife Robbie closed windows, locked doors etc and at all times I was confident my dogs were safe and in good hands.
When Yellowknifers were allowed to return home, Robbie offered to make the drive home with the dogs. They may not have been happy about another long drive, but they were excited to see him again! They arrived home a day before us and Robbie cleaned out the fridge and waged a battle against the fruit flies that inevitably invaded after weeks of us being gone. 
Robbie navigated a natural disaster and evacuation with my two dogs along for the ride, the word ‘reliable’ simply does not do him justice. – Trisha Paradis
